I hereby consent that the CoARA secretariat can use recordings for the purpose of raising awareness for the Coalition.

The recordings will be used to disseminate information via the website, social media channels or other communications platforms of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment.

I understand that my images will be held in accordance with the GDPR guidelines (the General Data Protection Regulation). Images on websites can be viewed throughout the world and not just in Europe, and that some overseas countries may not provide the same level of protection to the rights of individuals as EU legislation provides.

I can ask the CoARA secretariat (communication@coara.eu) to stop using my images at any time, in which case efforts will be made to prevent them being used in future publications. However, they may continue to appear in publications already in circulation.

If the recording captures me speaking (e.g., presenting information), I also agree that I will include material that is the intellectual property of another party only if I have their permission or a licence to do so and irrevocably license the CoARA secretariat any copyright in the words spoken as well as visual communication supports (if applicable) for the purpose of raising awareness for the Coalition.

All productions will be published under the Creative Commons CC-BY license (the current version is CC-BY 4.0). Under this license content is free to distribute and adapted for purposes of the raising awareness for CoARA. Upon submission, the recorded individual(s) grant(s) the CoARA secretariat a license to publish, including to display, store, copy, and reuse the content. The CC-BY Creative Commons attribution license enables CoARA to use the publication freely, given appropriate attribution to the recorded individual(s) and citing CoARA as the original publisher.
